› President and Founder

Michael O'Malley is the founder as well as the 100% owner of Point Financial, Inc. ("PFI"). His responsibilities range from sales and marketing, management, financial and credit review policies as well as oversight and direction for administration. He is the General Partner of PFI Lease Fund I and sits or has sat on the boards of Unique Home Designs and Telesuite Corporation. Prior to founding PFI, Mr. O'Malley was the founder of PC Commercial, a division of Systems Marketing Inc., and Lessor of IBM computer equipment. PC Commercial was a front runner in the leasing of personal computers and experienced early success with leases to many Fortune 500 companies. Mr. O'Malley sold his interest in PC Commercial in 1988 to form PFI. In 1982, Mr. O'Malley began his leasing career as a District Manager for United States Leasing Company. He holds a BA in Economics from San Francisco State University.

Eric Koontz
› Chief Operations Officer

Eric Koontz is VP of Point Financial, Inc. ("PFI") and has been with PFI since 1992. His responsibilities include financial and tax accounting, as well as lease portfolio management and company administration and strategy. Prior to joining PFI, he was with Arizona Building and Development ("ABD"), a firm specializing in the development and management of commercial retail shopping centers and he was responsible for financially analyzing income producing properties as well as property management. Mr. Koontz holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Arizona as well as a MIM from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird).

Brian Smith
› Investment Committe Member

Brian Smith is a General Partner to Point Financial Income Lease Fund I (PFILFI) and sits on the PFI Investment Committee. Brian has more than 14 years of venture capital experience and leads Peninsula's investments in information technology and convergence companies. Prior to joining Peninsula, he served as a Managing Member and was responsible for the Menlo Park office of Dominion Ventures. Brian holds a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Brian Smith presently serves as a Director in the following companies: Camstar Systems, Inc., Quality Care Solutions, Inc., ITax Group, Inc., and Intersource, Inc.
